How do weeee know how to throw a great party? We’ve been driving them for over 10 years and we know what works and what doesn’t work for teen party ideas or college ones. Let us start by saying that, you need to be organized, or at least just listen to us and pretend that you are organized.

• You need to plan ahead. We suggest a minimum of a month. Pick a day that nobody will have school the next day. We would personally recommend a Sunday on a 3-day weekend: Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Parent Teacher Conferences, Labor Day, Spring Break, etc… Planning a party on these days is wise because not only can you get a party bus in San Diego from Hotlimos but you can get it for a few hundred off the going rate because it’s not peak times (shameless ad). 

• You might want to start brainstorming on what kind of party you want to have. Most people start with what you have already done. It’s a good place to build on but the reason you love to party is that it’s new and exciting.

   

• I’m sure you’ve probably done it all already, but the typical things like trampoline park, amusement park, drive around aimlessly are yesterday’s news.  Now its time to really make a smash and with that, we suggest a theme party. Theme parties usually have costumes and tell a “story”.  

So now that we’ve gotten your feet wet with some awesome party ideas it’s time to “Up your Game” and tell you what you need to bring to make everyone happy!

• You need to bring your “A-Game”. You need to be the “Host with the Most” or the “Hostess with the Mostest”.
  What that means is that you need to be smiling until your face hurts.
  
  
• You need to entertain your guests. I would have some “Best ……..” games lined up to make the time go quickly. Best Dancer, Worst Dancer, Best Costume, Most Sexiest, etc… Remember if your guests time is “slow” it means your guests are bored and will not go on another of your adventures into un-organization.
  
  
• Make sure (if you are in a Party Bus Rental) to make hourly stops to use the restrooms, or collect some grub to refuel those afterburners. Empty stomachs make bad party guests.

So if you don’t want to listen to any of our advice and want to still throw a party then just pick one of the themes above and bring some party favors, drinks, and snacks. Most of the guys will love it because you had free snacks and the half will love you because you are there friend. You are in charge, just take at least an hour and do it right!

Last but not least, don’t invite people who are renowned for making a party go bad! Fighters, drinkers, druggies, touble makers, etc…
